Referrals
Share your link and earn commission on the accounts the traders you refer buy.
How it works
- Everyone gets a link (backed.io/r/YOURCODE, made from your handle; you can change the code and old links keep working). Find it on the Referrals page in the app.
- A sale counts through your link (remembered for 30 days; the last link clicked wins) or your code typed at checkout (the code wins over a link).
- A trader stays yours from their first referred order.
- Commission is on what they paid after discounts. Backed balance top-ups never earn, and referring yourself never pays.
Tiers
An activation is a referred trader who bought an account. Your tier rises with activations and never drops. These are the launch tiers; the Referrals page shows yours.

Creators can apply for KOL commission from the Referrals page with their main channel and audience.
Getting paid
- Commission becomes available after a 14-day hold (for refunds).
- Cash it out in USDC on Solana from $50, or move any amount from $1 into your Backed balance at once.
- If an order is refunded, the commission on it is taken back.
