Backed Protector
A safety net on Launchpad and Instant funded accounts: if an open loss reaches 1.5% of the starting balance, positions close and trading pauses until the next reset.
How it works
- It applies to Launchpad and Instant funded accounts from your 3rd payout cycle.
- If your open loss reaches 1.5% of the starting balance, every position is closed and new trades pause until the next 17:00 New York reset.
- Each time is a strike: the first is a warning, the second a final warning, and strike 3 ends the account.
- Strikes clear after every paid payout. You are notified each time.
Launchpad $50K, third payout cycle
The Protector limit is 1.5% of $50,000: $750. Your open trades reach −$790: positions are closed and that is strike 1. Trading resumes at the 17:00 New York reset.
Closed losses still count toward your drawdown limits.
Why it exists
It stops one bad session from ending an account that has already paid out, and keeps payouts sustainable on the programs that start funded or cost the least to start.
Flex and Sprint have no Protector.
