Drawdown

Two limits protect every account: a static max drawdown from your starting balance, and a daily loss limit that resets at 17:00 New York time.

Max drawdown (static)

floor = starting balance − (max drawdown % × starting balance)
breach when equity ≤ floor (checked on every price update)

The floor is fixed. It does not trail your profit, so every dollar you make adds room.

Flex $50K

Starting balance $50,000, max drawdown 6%: the floor is $47,000. After a good week the balance is $54,000, and the floor is still $47,000.

Open losses count: with a balance of $47,500 and an open trade at −$1,600, equity is $45,900, below the floor, so the account ends even though no trade was closed at a loss.

The floor moves up at your first payout

On a funded account, once your first payout is paid the floor moves up to your starting balance and stays there.

Daily loss limit

daily floor = equity at the 17:00 New York reset − (daily loss % × starting balance)
breach when equity ≤ daily floor (checked on every price update)

Flex $50K

Equity at the 17:00 reset is $51,200. The daily limit is 3% of the starting balance, $1,500, so today’s floor is $49,700.

With one trade open at −$900, equity is $50,300: there is $600 of room left today.

The No daily drawdown add-on (Flex and Sprint) removes the daily limit. The max drawdown still applies.

What happens at the limit

The account ends at once and every open position is closed at the market price. See Breaches, inactivity and resets.
