Rules
Rules at a glance
The whole rulebook in plain words. The same rules cover every market, and every program uses them with its own numbers.
The rules in plain words
- Two limits decide everything. A daily loss limit and a max drawdown, both on equity (open losses count), checked on every price update. Going past either ends the account. See Drawdown.
- The trading day runs 17:00 to 17:00 New York time. The daily limit resets then, and days are counted on the same boundary.
- To pass, reach the profit target with closed profit. See Profit target and green days.
- One trade may commit at most 80% of your balance, and each market adds its own limits. See Leverage and limits.
- Funded accounts pay out after green days, from profit above a buffer, up to a cap. See How payouts work.
- Trade fairly. No hedging between accounts, no bot spam, no manipulation. See Fair play.
- Trade at least once every 30 days.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Profit target | 4% | 9% | 8% | None |

What we do not have
- No minimum trading days.
- No time limit to pass.
- No trailing drawdown: the floor does not follow your profit. It only moves once, up to your starting balance, at your first payout.
- No ban on news trading.
- No forced weekend close for Tradfi (futures still close every trading day at 4:45pm New York).
- No consistency rule, except on Instant.
Where you can see every rule
